Inaugural VIP Alberta-Made Whisky Showcase

The Alberta Breeders’ Fall Classic is excited to host the inaugural VIP Alberta-Made Whisky Showcase on September 12 at Century Mile Racetrack.


Driven by Cowboy Trail Brewery, the showcase will bring together premium Alberta-made whiskies from Bridgeland Distillery, Burwood Distillery and GrainHenge Whisky.


VIP guests will experience each selection and vote for the whisky that will help launch a new annual Fall Classic tradition.


The selected whisky is planned to receive a limited-edition Alberta Heritage Series release, featuring artwork that captures Alberta’s racing, agricultural and distilling heritage, and past fall classic winners. In future years, an annual art contest would invite Alberta artists to help create the identity of each new release.


Every year would introduce:

 A new Alberta whisky

 A new piece of Alberta artwork

 A new chapter in Fall Classic history

 A distinctive limited-edition bottle


Over time, the Alberta Heritage Series would become a collection of bottles telling the evolving story of our province—its grain, horses, artists, makers and communities.
