Come and help celebrate the Alberta Bred Thoroughbred.
Seven stakes races are held during the annual Alberta Breeders' Fall Classic showcasing the best of the Alberta Thoroughbred Industry.
In total, Alberta Thoroughbreds will be racing for $350,000 in purse money. The 2023 Alberta Breeders' Fall Classic will be held at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino,
Doors open at 1:15 p.m. and Post Time is 1:45 p.m.

The Alberta Breeders' Fall Classic is also a day to celebrate all things made in Alberta. Enjoy a marketplace highlighting some of Alberta's vendors with a wide variety of "Made in Alberta' products. Everything from artwork to pottery is on display and for sale at the Alberta Breeders' Fall Classic Made in Alberta Marketplace.

2022 ALBERTA BREEDERS’ FALL CLASSIC MARKETPLACE VENDORS
BARCLAY POTTERY
Bob Barclay became interested in pottery in the early 70s and has since developed a line of functional items. His work can be found in several local gift stores and also in the National Parks and throughout Northern Canada.
The pottery is all handmade on the potters wheel and made from high fire stoneware clay. He also produces imprinted items for corporate and commemorative events.
His studio is located in Spruce Grove Alberta.
COUNTRY MARKET GOURMET FOODS
Country Market, a family owned business, was started in August 1993, with their award winning Mulled Citrus Cider Spices. The product line grew from there to delicious gourmet flavored hard candies, sponge toffee and yummy chocolate products made the old fashioned way, by hand and not machines. Recipes are made in small batches to ensure the best flavor resulting in simply delicious sweets and treats. Country Market is proud that the candies, chocolate treats, beverages, soups, and baking mixes are handmade in Alberta. ILLUSIONS WINE & GEM JEWELRY
Marilyn Wesley of Illusions Wine & Gem Jewelry has been making jewelry for 9 years using a variety of stones & crystals to make one of a kind pieces. I make chain mail (weaving small metal rings into a necklace or bracelet), wire woven pendants & bracelets as well as more traditional styles using genuine stones & high quality findings. Each piece is handmade with the love I have for the craft.

Surrounded by a pristine lake, lush trees and the open sky (and possibly a bottle of Cab Sav), Meagan Ryan and Krista King dreamed up the vision of Lumber Jill Apparel. The conversation began over the discrepancy between men and women’s outdoor clothing. Women have to make the decision between fashion, comfort and warmth, often only getting two of the three elements in our clothing. Women either wear at leisure that looks and feels great, or men's outdoor clothing that gives us no shape. We believe women deserve apparel that is fashionable, comfortable and warm, the trifecta we call it!
